About us

Olivier Glitsch graduated from business school in Zurich and started his career in aviation as assistant catering manager for the Swiss airline Balair and joined Swissair later on. Amongst others he was involved in the development of computer-based navigation chart production and responsible for the implementation and supervision of the electronic charting system.

At that time he completed his flight training and obtained his private pilot's license.

In 1996, Olivier Glitsch left Swissair and established his own company, Glitsch Consulting GmbH, Internet Solutions. He acquired and managed over 60 projects since then in the fields of internet/intranet, including the development of an online reservation and booking system for aviation.

In 1999 he founded Avex Aviation Experts AG and turned towards Quality Management in connection with the implementation of JAR-OPS at that time. Within the company, information technology (especially aviation application design) has always been his main concern. He designed the technical basis for Qperfect and is responsible for the web-application. Olivier Glitsch is at our customers disposal with regard to all technical issues of Qperfect and with his deep knowlegdge of and experience with Quality and Safety Management Systems.

At Avex, he is also responsible for the training administration and for coordinating the assignment of our staff. He is your contact person for all technical questions relating to Qperfect.
